Re: Windows 10

Below are the instructions for installing BX fonts. I find it easier to have Essentials open on my screen and file explorer open side by side. Once you have the program installed, you can EITHER drag and drop the BX file onto the open program OR double click on the BX file and it will automatically ...

Re: File not opening on machine from Embrilliance

I do not have a Brother but am wondering if you are saving your design as stitch file (pes for your machine) and working file (be) in your file system for designs. Then are you by chance saving both the be and pes file to your USB? If so then that might be the problem. You need to save just the file...

Re: Designer 1 Reads Only 1st 2 "Disks" from Disk Utility

Mindy, I reported that same issue awhile back. To my knowledge Brian is working on this problem. I also have Embird and this issue does not happen when writing designs in their software. Also in Essentials the name of the individual disks is also renamed. I have the original USB that came with my ma...

Re: Writing an SHV formatted disk/usb

Eastwitch, below is the response I received yesterday afternoon. I did forget to mention in my response back which follows theirs below that each menu can hold up to 36 designs all depending on the stitch counts. Re: Writing an SHV formatted disk/usb

Just tried your suggestion but still only see Disk 1 or 2. I have submitted a Support Ticket earlier this afternoon. Will let you know if they have a solution. If I read and write using my 5D disk manager then read in my machine I see all the disks. If I read that same USB in Embrilliance I see all ...

Re: Writing an SHV formatted disk/usb

Yes I read the USB first before adding and writing more designs. Yes I choose a menu to write to. Have chosen one in Disk 1 or 2 and also disk 7. When I put the USB in the machine I only see Disk 1 or 2 to choose from. I am able to select and embroider selected design from 1 or 2. I have the origina...

Re: Writing an SHV formatted disk/usb

I have a D1 USB that is all formatted correctly with designs that I keep on it all the time. I have successfully written new designs to my USB with the D1 utility in Essentials. My question is when I read the USB in my machine it only shows Disk 1 and 2. It does not matter which disk/menu I write to...

Re: Windows 8.1

I am running Essentials on my Asus vivoTab Smart Windows 8.1. I also have it on my Windows 7 laptop and desktop. Any editing in Essentials I would most likely do on the Laptop or desktop But..... I have a Bluetooth mouse that I use with my tablet which makes it easy to do the editing on the tablet ...
