Creating Appliques #3 in Stitch Artist
March 19, 2015 So I started out with 3 Appliques shapes and digitized them as Appliques. Each Shape had 3 color stops. Total of 9 Color Stops for all 3 shapes. Saved the design to remove the overlapped stitches. Then did a Color Sort Ended up with 5 color changes for the whole design of 3 appliques....

March 19, 2015 Continued Under File click on Open and find the saved Applique Stitch File that you just saved and bring it into the working window. Your saved stitch file should now show you where the final stitches have been removed for the Appliques that are under another Applique. See my Picture ...

East Witch, Here is another problem I am running into. I am working on designs that have several tack down pieces, so I'm not using the applique button, which I found gives you the placement and tackdown stitches too.
