Program requirements?

There is no minimum requirement for any of our programs. The install is a handful of megabytes. These days 'computer requirements' is a quaint term. (Unless you're getting something from Microsoft!) If your Mac or PC turns on, it has more than enough and there's plenty left over. The OS requirements...

That is always a great question when it comes to using a Mac with embroidery. The first question is the file format. And to that, the answer is "YES" Embrilliance saves in formats that cover every machine on the market today. Bernina owners note: Your machines are based on EXP and always have been. ...

Identifying specific colors

...When you are changing colours in the thread chart it would be nice if you could just double click to change the colour and not have to press ok every time you want to change a colour. It would also be handy to have numbers or something next to the thread colours so you know which thread change i...

Color Sort

When you merge files there doesn't seem to be any option to do a colour sort so you end up with tons of colour changes. We do not have a Color Sort feature in this product, but we do have one in Convert It, Mac. We have considered it, but it creates complications with working files, so it only can ...

Conversion / Cataloging

I have a new MacBook and a Brother embroidery sewing machine. A friend has Designer's Gallery studio+. Does Embrilliance or MacConvert replace that or is it the same or better or what? Convert It, Mac is another product that we make. It is similar to Designer's Gallery Studio Plus, but is quite dif...

Colors on a PR-650 6 needle machine

...When I resized a design and had selected RA Poly thread colors, when I read the design on my PR-650 it would not display the RA colors, despite having that palette set on my machine. Instead it displayed "embroidery" color palette selections. There are two methods of displaying colors on that ma...

Why is there a Working File and a Stitch File?

A working file allows you to go back and edit things such as typos in lettering, or resize designs without further distortion. A stitch file is ready for a machine to sew out, but does not store object data to allow such editing without further distortion or more work. Because most designs will be s...

Design Exchange

As we move forward, one of the intrinsic features of Embrilliance will be more noticeable. That is DRM (Digital Rights Management) where your designs actually carry copyrights. Once we do release the digitizer, at whatever level, you will be able to create and publish your designs with DRM. That mea...
