File Extension

Post by JackiP » Sat Mar 10, 2018 5:34 am

I'm new to embrilliance. What file extension do I use when buying designs from third parties? Many thanks. I have a Bernina machine that uses .exp.

You can buy either .bx, .be or the .exp which your machine uses. You can open them all in any of the Embrilliance software and when you are finished you can export it as an .exp file for your machine to stitch out.

Are you on a Mac? Convert it Mac will convert your files. With Essentials and Enthusiast you need to open your existing file and export it into whatever file type your machine can read. What file type does your machine read? What file types do you need to open?
