For Embrilliance Essentials:

If the part of the design you want to delete has it's own color/s then you could delete/cut the color/s for that part and it will delete that part.

IF the part/s you want to delete are the same color as the rest of the design then you could run the design through the Stitch Simulator and put color stops in just before the parts you want to delete making them a different color and then you could delete/ cut those parts out.

Here is a link to Lisa's post showing how to put in the color stops.

I got a response from Brian at Embrilliance:

I was able to do it in Enthusiast in a manner of seconds.

Basically you click on the Stitch Editor button. Zoom to a
dog. I used the magnify tool and dragged around it, but zoom and scale so you
can see the whole thing. Then click the rectangle select tool and select the
stitches for the dog. It's kind of ugly with all those white circles indicating
the whole dog is selected. Now, Copy, click on New Page, switch to that page and
click Paste.

Repeat for the others

I also clicked the 'Center in
hoop' button.

Easy Peasy. Hope this helps!

Brian, you say it is possible in enthusiast but is this not the essentials forum ? is it also possible to split a design this way in essentials ?
