Print Preview / Windows10

Post by None1 » Thu Apr 12, 2018 11:54 am

My hoop is in portrait mode on the screen, but the design is oriented vertically in the frame in order to fit all of the letters into the hoop.
The lettering of the name is 10" wide, if it were oriented horizontally. But it is vertical on the screen.

In Print Preview and on the printout, the design prints at the left edge of the sheet. The size prints correctly (actual size)
I looked for "collections" and "envelopes" to make sure it was turned off, but didn't find any setting there probably because only one design is framed.
The printer settings are "default", portrait.
(I tried landscape and the design went off the page - an obvious mismatch).

I went to Preferences, Printing and there is nothing there to select.

I found no posting about this here on the Forum.

See attached jpg titled "Maddie-left of printout.jpg will show you exactly what I am experiencing.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi Babs. What size hoop do you have selected? It looks like you might have a multi-position hoop selected. If so, designs have to be in precise location in the hoop. That could be causing the problem. I hope this is helpful.
