I uploaded the new version of Convert It Mac. Do I also need to do the Thumbnailer? They were a package deal when I purchased. It asked for a serial number and the only one I have is the Convert It Mac one. Jackie

Your Convert It, Mac serial number works for both CIM and ET. You only need to update ET if you move to Lion.

I don't think this question goes here but I couldn't seem to start a new question thread.

Do you know of any software to convert eps to pes.

I use a Mac and have CS Web Premium so there is not much I cannot do .......

except convert a logo in eps to pes

Any assistance in this is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Embroidery formats are not graphics files. This is a common misconception.
In order to embroider, a design must be digitized, which applies stitches, underlay, direction and density.
There is simply nothing such as a 'thread printer' although we all wish there were.

The process of digitizing can be simple or complex. There are even auto-digitizing programs, however their output is not typically commercial-quality except for perhaps the simplest of graphics.

Digitizing has two learning curves; the software and the process. Professional digitizers will take years to master the skill, however someone with computer graphics skills may learn to produce a simple result in an afternoon.

We are at work on a digitizing program, so stay tuned.
