Is there a way to add lettering/words from alphabets that I have downloaded from the internet?

Hi Lulu09!

If you have Embrilliance Essentials you can use the Merge Icon and merge in letters from those Alphabets you have downloaded and make text (words).
Here is a video showing how to use the Merge tool that you can watch at the link below.
You will have to manually line up and space the letters.

An easier way to use any Alphabets that you have purchased or downloaded would be to purchase the Embrilliance Alpha Tricks program.
It allows you to map the letters from those Alphabets to keys on your computer keyboard and then save them into the program and then you can use them to make text designs by just typing the words or letters and the program will automatically line up the letters and space them for you. You can however adjust the spacing and have more options to stylize your lettering.
You can read more about Alpha Tricks at the link below.

Hope this helps you!

Which Embrilliance program do you have that you purchased? Essentials or Alpha Tricks

If your Downloaded Alphabets are in a stitch file format such as pes or vip or jef or hus etc. then the only way to get them to show up in the Drop down Font Box in Embrilliance Essentials is to purchase Alpha Tricks and map the Alphabet letters into the program and save them. They then show up in the Font Box in Essentials and Alpha Tricks.
There are several Videos showing how to map the Alphabets into Alpha Tricks and how to make text etc with the mapped in letters at the link below.

The other way you can use the downloaded Alphabets that are in a stitch file format is to use the Merge Stitch File Icon as shown in the Video link I posted and locate the file on your computer where you have the downloaded Alphabets and then select the letters you want to use and merge the letters into the working window. Move the letters to where you want them to make words or text. Using this method the Alphabets do not go into the program and will not show up in the Font Box. The Alphabets are on your computer only.

If you have downloaded Alphabets that include a BX file of the pre mapped letters then you can drag and drop the bx files into Essentials or Alpha Tricks and they will automatically install and will appear in the Font Drop down box.
