.BX fonts?

Post by 1selkie » Mon Apr 01, 2013 2:45 pm

Do you know of any digitizers other than Embrilliance that use the .BX format? I would like to get a few more fonts but can't spend the money for the full Font Package from Embrilliance right now. I've imported a few and mapped them but would love to find some that I can just drag in! Thanks for being available for those of us who use Macs!

Hello!

Yes, we know that having the BX format would be advantageous. We are working with some digitizers at the moment and will be making announcements soon. Be sure to ask your favorite digitizers to contact us for information on how they can offer the BX format for their alphabet designs!

Have a great weekend!

The first digitizer to offer all of her fonts in the BX format is Rivermill Embroidery.

We have been working with some others and hoping to get them on board - it seems that some of their customers have been asking for a BX format and they want to know what that is :-) THANK YOU for helping spread the word!

take care!

Some Great BX File News!

Over the last week I have had several email conversations with Troy at Jolsons Designs when I placed an order to purchase Alphabet sets and one thing led to another and I asked if he would consider offering the BX files for his Alphabets to his customers.

He said he had been contacted once about doing this but would take another look at it as he liked the idea of mapping fonts and just typing text on the keyboard.

Well I just received an email from Troy saying that Jolson Designs will be offering the BX format for their Alphabet Font Sets.

He anticipates that it will take a few weeks for him to set this all up on the website as they have over 400 Alphabet Font Sets.

For further information on this you may want to sign up for the Jolsons Newsletter on the Home Page on his website
http://www.jolsonsdesigns.com

Troy is a member here too on the Embrillance Forum and on the Embrilliance Face Book Page so keep watching for posts from him.

I don't do Face Book so I use the the Forum for Embrilliance News etc. LOL!

Way To Go Troy and Thank YOU!

Troy at Jolsons Designs is already busy adding the BX files to his Digitzed Font Sets.

He has added a New Page called BX Ready Fonts to the Index on his Website that shows which Fonts have the BX Files included so far.

So check this page often as he will be adding more as he works through all 476 Font sets.

Here is the BX Ready Fonts Link Page.

When you orde and purchase a Font Set you will choose your Regular Machine Format that you need and when you download the Zip file for it the BX files will be included along with the files for the Regular Design Format you picked.

Here is another digitizer that is offering .BX fonts

I emailed her and she said she can offer the format. You just have to request it.

Hope this helps,
