Rotate Letters When Mapping

Is there a way to rotate letters when mapping a font? Some fonts have a letter that is sideways or upside down. I know how to move them on the baseline, and I know I can do it once I've added it to a design, but is there a way to do it while mapping, so it will always be right-side up?

LOL ... I figured it out just a few minutes after posting my question. For some reason, I thought the arrows were "forward" and "back" options, but now I know they are rotating buttons. :)

Hi BKM31005!

I am glad you found out how to rotate the letters when mapping.

I find that Digitizers usually work with a certain hoop size when digitizing the letters of an Alphabet and if the wider letters such as H,M, and W are too wide for the hoop size they rotate the letter to fit that certain hoop size.
Makes life interesting doesn't it!

See the attached picture below showing where the Rotate Buttons are in Alpha Tricks when mapping letters and you want to rotate a letter of an Alphabet that is turn sideways and you would like the letter to be upright before mapping it.

You can rotate the letters to the left or right by using the applicable Rotate Button.

The buttons with the arrows in the picture are the Rotate buttons
