lasso

When using the lasso, can other parts of a design be hidden and therefore isolated so you can make a clean cut? Or is that editing in two levels?

ABSOLUTELY!

This is done using the LOCK and HIDE button in the Object pane.

Open your design and choose the object(s) in the Object pane on the right that you don't want to touch.

Click on the WHITE LOCK to lock and hide this selection (click on the open lock to revert back to unlocked)

Now these stitches will not get in the way while using the stitch editor in Enthusiast. This function is also active in Essentials, but it is REALLY useful in the Stitch Editing of Enthusiast.
