After merging two stitch design, can the second design be inserted into the sewing order of the first design? For example, design 1 has seven steps, can design 2 be inserted to sew after step 1:4 of the first design?

Hi Sporty!

May I ask if you only have Enthusiast or do you have Essentials and Enthusiast?

Under help in the program or if you download the Manual you will find instructions on how to sequence objects or designs and items in the object tree.
This is found on Page 25 on the Mac Embrilliance Manual or Page 22 in the Embrilliance Windows Manual.
You can also find the information by clicking on Help and then click on Help in the drop down menu when you have the program open.

I do know you can resequence the stitch order of the designs so one would stitch out before the other.
And you can resequence the stitch order of the items or elements that make up a design.

So now to the Experiment.
I played with this just a little bit to see if this would work and may be worth trying

You would have to use the .be working file of the merged designs to experiment with to see if you can do what you want to do.

I would suggest that you have the design that you want to have the other design dropped into opened in the Objects Pane showing all the 7 items/elements that make up that design.

You can do this by clicking on the Plus Sign in front of the design showing in the Objects Pane and that will open the object tree for the design and show the 7 elements in the design.

Then try dragging and dropping the whole second design/object into position after the 4th item/element in the Object Tree of the first design.
This would place the second design so it would stitch out after the fourth item in the Object Tree of the first design.

If you save this design use a new name to save it under so you still have the original.

Please let us know if this works :!:

Remember you can alwasys click on UNDO under the Edit Tab to undo any thing you have done to the design! :!: :!:

You can use a cut and paste method to insert a design into the sewing sequence/ sewing order of another design.
Please read the information on page 2 and 3 of the following forum post for instructions on how to do this. ... f=11&t=859
