SVG Files

Post by Stitches » Thu Sep 11, 2014 1:35 pm

I have recently purchased a Brother ScanNCut to go with my Embrilliance programs (Essentials, Enthusiast, Alpha tricks) I understand the process of saving to an SVG file and have accomplished that. But when I save it to my thumb drive and take it to my ScanNCut it doesn't read it. Does anybody in the forum have these products that could possibly help with this problem. . . OR do I need to go to Brother and ask this question. :?: :?: :?:

Thank you for your help in this matter.

Hi Stitches

For your Brother Scan and Cut I believe you should save the cutting file as a FCM Cutting file not SVG.
Here are 2 Videos showing the steps of making the cutting file in Embrilliance Essentials and the last Video also shows how to bring it up on your Brother Scan and Cut machine to cut the fabric.

If that doesn't help you then you might want to fill out an Embrilliance Support Ticket as you may get help from the Embrilliance Support Team on this SVG file problem you are having.
I am sure they should be able to help you.
Use the link below and fill out the Support ticket and submit it.

Thank you so much for leading me in the right direction with your information. The previous video that I had watch kept saying SVG cut file. But this one that you sent me has helped me tremendously.

THANK YOU!
