Need some help with editing...

Post by Gfann » Sun Jan 22, 2017 10:04 pm

I'm new to the program, stitch artist L1. I have created a couple designs, saved them and reopened them. It seems I am unable to edit them once they are saved. Is that correct? Is it a limitation to Level 1? Or, am I missing something? Thanks Greg.

I'm not sure. I'm new to this too. I just downloaded it, so now i'm reading and researching more within the forums. If i find the answer I'll post for you. :)

I have come to realize that there are different save types. If you "save as (stitch and Woriking) " then you will get two types of files one you can edit and one for the machine.

absolutely, there are two "save" options. One is "Working", which is for the file you can edit. The other is "Stitch". You use this type of save for use on your specific machine. The Stitch file is not editable.
