Can't Edit Fills in .be files

Post by gedeyenite » Fri Feb 17, 2017 9:39 am

I seem to keep losing the ability to edit an existing .be file that I digitized from scratch.

Last night I created a small logo and testing it out on my machine. It didn't look good.

So this morning I opened Embrilliance back up (StitchArtist Level 2) and opened the .be file to continue editing.

I then selected the fill object in the design and click on stitches to start editing the fill properties. But the options to edit are gone! (see image). Instead, I am only able to adjust two sliders (density adjustments for satin and fill) and am offered a few check boxes for sweep and filtering.

Why does this happen? I click all around and can't get my edit features back! This seems to negate the reason I purchased StitchArtist Level 2! The only way I can edit it to start over from scratch which is time consuming even for a simple design like the one I am fiddling with.

If anyone knows how to get past this, I would definitely appreciate the help.

Thanks.

that's the Density Repair Kit settings. Are you sure that's a .be file and not a .pes file.

That's a good question. I tried a different file to make sure I was opening a .be and not a .pes

It still exhibits this en-editable behavior.

That E was a purchased file, so I tried the orange circle logo one again. The orange circle is no longer editable.

Sorry for the delay. I had to wait till I was on another break from work.

That link should bring you to the .be file.

Thanks so much for taking a look and for the help; very appreciated.

It looks like the file was a machine file at one time and saved as a .be file. It won't be editable in StitchArtist. If you like I can recreate the file in .be format that is editable, just let me know.
