How Does Thumbnailer help Mac users?

Post by eve1m » Mon Mar 09, 2015 8:37 am

I have a mac and bought Embrilliance and thumb nailer and I'm happy with the essentials and I'm looking to even try my hand at Stitch Artist.
But I am confused with the thumb nailer software.
I cannot see anything but a few designs and lots of closed folders.
This is not viewing my designs.
I was able to see closed folders before I had thumb nailer and I have to open each one.
I understand there are features for windows….such as folders that give a PEEK inside.
So why did I (a mac user,) BUY THIS?
What type of "viewing my designs does" it do for me on my Mac????
What can this do on a mac?????????

Hi eve1m!

Please read the information on the following links regarding Thumbnailer on a Mac.
You do have to set which file formats you want to see the thumbnails of.
On a Mac you can view the thumbnails of your designs with in folders in Finder or Cover Flow.

My folders remain" closed" to look at. Only my single designs 'outside folders' can be seen. It doesn't help me to run cover-flow or look in finder at just "closed folders"-
why do I need thumbnailer???
