March is known for wind and St. Patrick’s Day, but this design is sure to blow you away no matter what March means to you! Whether you are celebrating Irish culture by stitching and wearing the green or you prefer to stitch this lovely design in colors to match your decor for use any time of the year, you will certainly want to check out this free shamrock design.

This design is sized to be stitched on any embroidery machine.  Our friend Erich Campbell digitized the Acanthus-styled Shamrock using StitchArtist Level 2. Watching the design stitch in the sewing simulator of Embrilliance is mesmerizing.  The column stitches literally develop and grow on screen, just like watching the time lapse of a blooming flower. Due to the opulent style of the embroidery, you will want to make sure that whatever you stitch it on is properly stabilized.

We have included a PDF file with more information on the design to help inspire and guide those who are developing their own digitizing styles and techniques.

The design is provided in our native .BE format, enabling you to save a stitch file for any embroidery machine. If you aren’t already an Embrilliance owner, we provide a free method to use our software called Express Mode that will not only allow you to use any of the wonderful free designs found in our project blog, but also enables you to install and create basic text treatments with fonts distributed in our popular .BX format produced by many embroidery design creators.
