At the risk of opening up a can of worms, I'm going to ask the following:
With regards to stitch editing, that is the manipulation of stitches themselves, what features do you want, and how should we present it to you?
For instance, we have had a few requests for a design splitter, similar in nature to other products. As my patented Designer's Gallery HoopWorks makes this process instant and automatic, I don't really see a lot of need for this in the Embrilliance brand. But your comments are welcome.
However, users more advanced than the beginner may want to move stitches, or add and remove, as necessary for a more perfect final product. This is a simple enough task, however I left it out of Essentials, because honestly we don't see it used all that much in our other products. Thus it was not 'Essential for All embroiderers.' And by separating that out, it lowered the learning curve on the software and allowed the price to remain low so we could add fonts, which are more useful in the general sense.
But sometimes I want that tool myself, and as there's none out there for Mac users, maybe we should bring it out?
So should we include a basic utility in Essentials? Should we make a more fully-fledged utility and offer it as a feature pack? Should we simply create a stand-alone version of a stitch editor?
You folks can decide. Let me know. Any input other than "Make the best in the world and make it free," is useful.
Cheers!
