Editing saved files

Post by kaquilt » Sun Oct 19, 2014 7:18 pm

How do I find and edit saved files? I've done a quilt label and would like to change a word in it. How should I have saved it to have a working file as well as a stitch file? And where would I find the working file to edit it? TIA, Kay

You can't edit a saved Stitch File but you can edit a saved Working file (.be file)
When you go to save the design you should choose the Save As Stitch and Working File option.
This will allow you to choose a folder on your computer where you want both the Stitch file and the Working be file to be saved to.

Then if you want to change anything you would select the Working file (be File) of the design and make the changes to it and then save again using a different name for the saved files.

You can always post your Essentials questions in the appropriate Essentials Section called, "Your Questions Answered Here", on the Forum to make it easier to find your posts.
