file contents in merge function

Post by Jackie Parr » Sun May 29, 2011 6:56 pm

I notice when I open a folder in my embroidery file in the merge function, it does not show all the designs in that folder. Some of the designs are in their own individual folder and some are just saved in the main folder for that category. What do I need to do for it to show all the designs in that folder. Jackie

Hi, Just unzip them. Otherwise they're technically NOT in that folder.

Embroidery software and designs for Mac and Windows.

They are already unzipped. Just a single design inside the folder, not in their own folder.

We have a feature in Convert It, Mac "Show Nested Folders" ... perhaps we can do something similar for Embrilliance Essentials.

Is there now a Convert It for Embrilliance Essentials?

I am unsure what you mean when you say 'Is there now a Convert It for Embrilliance Essentials?'

Convert It, Mac is a standalone program for the Mac.

It is a view - and - convert program. It lets you see your designs and convert them to a format for your machine. It has design coloring, basting, color sorting and some other tools for embroiderers. Most people consider this an essential tool for those times when you simply want to browse for a design and use it. CIM comes with our popular Thumbnailer, so your designs will be visible in Finder, just like photos, etc. CIM runs on Mac OSX 10.5 and up.

Embrilliance is a brand that we make and it runs on Macs and PCs. Essentials is designed to have the features 'Essential to all embroiderers without the extras.' This makes it really useful and easy to use. It includes Sizing, Merging designs, Coloring, Lettering in multi-line, Monogram and Circle modes, and more. Although it can be used to find and convert designs, this is not its strength. It is made for you to create a composition or add lettering to a design.
