Snowflake names

Re: Snowflake names
Yes you can quite easily. The trick is in getting the first set the right size and spaced properly. Type in your name and then under Utility select "Mirror X 4". Here is where you need to play around with sizing and spacing. Then select Edit, select all, copy and paste. Under the color bars at the top is the icon for rotating. Select the one for rotating counterclockwise for 90 degrees. Copy and paste 2 more times to get the other 2 arms of the snowflake. Rotate each copy again, putting in 45 degrees for one and -45 degrees for the other. It should be quite easy once you get the original sizing and spacing figured out.
Re: Snowflake names
I think you can see I should have made my name smaller and spaced them a little farther apart.

Unfortunately your pictures are not showing up for me and I am not sure if anyone else is having this problem.
I wonder could you reload your pictures showing how to make the snowflake names in the JPG format.

Re: Snowflake names
Thank you for uploading the jpg files for the pictures of how you did the snowflake name design.
These show up great!
I played with setting up a name yesterday and used the same method and tried some other methods.
It is very easy and yes it is all about spacing the sets of names and also the size of lettering used.
Thanks again!

Re: Snowflake names
OK, you just need a couple of more steps. Create your name in the size you want. Edit, select all, copy and paste. Then click the mirror vertical button, it's the square with the black top and white bottom. You should now have one arm of the snowflake. Edit, select all, copy and paste. Then click the mirror horizontal button, the square with black on the left and white on the right. You should now have both the right and left arms of the snowflake. Edit, select all, copy and paste. Use the rotate 90 degrees arrow. It should now look like a plus sign. You should then be able to proceed like I showed you above, by rotating another copy 45 degrees and another copy -45 degrees.
Re: Snowflake names
Sorry, I got the horizontal and vertical backwards in the above post.
