Creating “redwork” or vintage style embroidery designs is fun and easy to do in Embrilliance StitchArtist.  YES, you can create designs like this in StitchArtist L1 and we are happy to give you this cutie as a free design this month.

This design was created by Lisa Shaw during her recent Facebook Live broadcast on her Bubbles’ Menagerie business page.  For those interested, you can catch a replay of the “Afterhours with Lisa” on her youtube channel.  Click on this link to access the recording.

If you have StitchArtist, open the BE working file into Create mode and check out the settings for each of the objects.

If you have Essentials, you can open the BE working file to print templates, add lettering and more!

We have included a PDF file with more information on the design including digitizing insights and other information.

Download the zipped file containing the design and PDF file here.

The design is provided in our native .BE format, enabling you to save a stitch file for any embroidery machine. If you aren’t already an Embrilliance owner, we provide a free method to use our software called Express Mode that will not only allow you to use any of the wonderful free designs found in our project blog, but also enables you to install and create basic text treatments with fonts distributed in our popular .BX format produced by many embroidery design creators.
