Graduations have taken on a different look and feel this year. Distance learning has changed many of the social aspects of senior year. Today’s free design was created by our friend Marygayle Browning, who is an active member in the StitchArtist Digitizing Fans group on Facebook.
Marygayle shared with us, “To help high school seniors have a special year, at my old high school we have each adopted a senior. We will send them special things in the mail. StitchArtist to the rescue! Love the way they turned out.” You can find more information about her custom digitizing and other things that she creates at her Etsy store, Tutu Fancy Pants. Feel free to reach out to her on Facebook as well!
The bookmark was created in StitchArtist and the keyfobs were created in StitchArtist using a purchased BX font. Enthusiast was used to create the outline for the keyfobs by using the knockdown stitch.
She graciously provided the .BE working files for the blank free standing lace bookmarks so that we can customize them with names or the year as she did using the vertical text quick style! Included in the zipped file are two versions – one has an embossed fill in the cap – if you have StitchArtist L2 you can change this to your school!
The design is provided in our native .BE format, enabling you to save a stitch file for any embroidery machine. If you aren’t already an Embrilliance owner, we provide a free method to use our software called Express Mode that will not only allow you to use any of the wonderful free designs found in our project blog, but also enables you to install and create basic text treatments with fonts distributed in our popular .BX format produced by many embroidery design creators.
