We here at Embrilliance have been very busy, but we didn’t want to let Father’s Day go by without celebrating all the awesome dads out there! Our own Erich Campbell saw some bold, single-color, printed Father’s Day items in one of his favorite stores and decided to create a similar quick-stitching embroidered custom-digitized text treatment in StitchArtist 2. You can use this simple design to create your own bold apparel and accessories! If you folks are busy like we are, you’ll appreciate that all it takes is a few minutes and a single color of thread for this slab-serif type proclaiming your dad is the best to make any apron, shirt, or even hat into a great gift!
Erich has included a standard design that runs from left to right as well as a special design that runs from the center out for those of you running cylindrical cap frames and want to make your own ‘BEST DAD’ hats. If you are sticking down your hat in a flat frame, you may not need that center-out treatment, but for those of you who have the a cylindrical cap driver on your multi-needle machine, you may want to consider the ‘Center-Out’ version.
The design is provided in our native .BE format, enabling you to save a stitch file for any embroidery machine. If you aren’t already an Embrilliance owner, we provide a free method to use our software called Express Mode that will not only allow you to use any of the wonderful free designs found in our project blog, but also enables you to install and create basic text treatments with fonts distributed in our popular .BX format produced by many embroidery design creators.
