This month we have a lovely embroidered project created by our friend Janet for her son and daughter-in-law.  It took two days of stitching at the machine to create this beautiful memory piece.

The finished size of this design is 20cm x 25cm (about 8″ x 10″ so a perfect size to frame).

Jane Jackson created this commemorative piece for her son and daughter in law.  The barn setting is where they got married and their pet names are “Moomin & Penguin”.  What an adorable backstory to this project!

When asked about the project, Jane tells us that “It was digitized in StitchArtist. I did little bits each day over several weeks, nearly 161000 stitches. I was really pleased because I did one test sew and only had to change a couple of small things, the second and final result I embroidered half one day
then finished the next.”

We just love Jane’s project are happy that she shared it with us!
