Over the past year, the Embrilliance project blog showcased 12 month-name designs highlighted with topical Embrilliance education in each post. Our friend Lisa Shaw digitized these monthly themed designs based upon digitizer-friendly art from Sanqunetti Designs. Moreover, each of her posts shared Embrilliance tips, tricks, and “how-to”s informed by their creation or use. Now that the series is complete, we’ve created a library to make this full calendar-cycle of designs easily accessible in the Embrilliance Platform.

Using Library Designs
You may be familiar with BX files from the wealth of fonts available from top digitizers. The difference with BX libraries is that instead of showing up in the font pane you see when using the Lettering tool, Library designs are accessed via the gear-shaped Merge Library Design button on your button bar. To see the designs in this collection, select Shared: Project Blog from the pull down Catalog menu in the upper left and click on the icon for the Month Designs collection in the left-hand pane.
Placing the Design
Click the preview image in the right hand pane to select the design you would like to use. Then click OK to merge the design into your design page. Just like all merged/opened files, the design will be inserted into your design page in the center of your selected hoop.
Notable Notes
When one of these designs is selected, you’ll see the Notes tab in the Properties pane at the lower right. If you click that tab, you’ll see that we added valuable information to the Notes tab. This contains the website address from which the original art used to create each design was purchased, the address of each design’s original project blog release, and a list of of educational topics covered in each design’s launch post! We hope you’ll find these designs great for your home decor, but that they will inspire you to ask questions, check out their informational posts, and help you learn or relearn how to make the most of your Embrilliance software!
The library is provided in our .BX installer format, enabling you install the native Embrilliance designs to the Embrilliance Platform’s built-in design library. See how to install a BX here: How to Install a BX Video. Once merged, these designs can be saved as a stitch file formatted for any embroidery machine. If you aren’t already an Embrilliance owner, we provide a free method to use our software called Express Mode that will not only allow you to use any of the wonderful free designs found in our project blog, but also enables you to install and create basic text treatments with fonts distributed in our popular .BX format produced by many embroidery design creators.
