Sketch and Scribble styled embroidery designs are not only fun and fast to stitch, they are quick and easy digitizing projects for embroiderers of any experience level. Our friend Lisa Shaw created this design during one of her Afterhours with Lisa broadcasts on her SewBubbles Facebook page. Though we love her live interactions, she re-recorded a more direct version so that you can get right to the digitizing! You’ll find her awesome video along with many, many more on our Embrilliance YouTube channel.

The Sketch & Scribble Double Love Design project video shows techniques you can achieve in any level of StitchArtist – starting out with how you can create these looks in in StitchArtist Level 1 and ending with how you can use the graphical operators like the deflate function in StitchArtist Level 3 to speed up the process. The tips, tricks and shortcuts Lisa shares for each level appear throughout the video: no matter which level you use, you’ll want to watch though the end so that you don’t miss a critical technique!

Lisa has provided the JPG image she worked from in the project files. This means that you can work along with the video to recreate this design in your own StitchArtist program using her original source material. Also included in the ZIP file are the daisy accent for the letter O and her finished version of the Sketch & Scribble Double Love design for those that do not have StitchArtist or those who simply want to save the design into their machine’s stitch file format and get right to embroidering.

The design is provided in our native .BE format, enabling you to save a stitch file for any embroidery machine. If you aren’t already an Embrilliance owner, we provide a free method to use our software called Express Mode that will not only allow you to use any of the wonderful free designs found in our project blog, but also enables you to install and create basic text treatments with fonts distributed in our popular .BX format produced by many embroidery design creators.
