After seeing some of our excellent Embrilliance embroiderers stitching one of our previous free designs, our own Erich Campbell got inspired to add something to the series. Since many of you loved using the Woodcut Turkey embroidery design to liven up their linens, Erich decided that he had to add some further holiday flair to the series. Erich sourced some lovely line-art to inspire his Woodcut Cornucopia embroidery design, creating it with the same solid, double run-stitch line work that made the original a quick-stitching classic.
Created at just under 2″ square and a grand total of 1914 stitches, this makes a super-fast single-color decoration for napkins and tea-towel corners. This little horn of plenty stitches continuously with no trims and no hassles.
This is a perfect example of a design that you could create with any of our StitchArtist software levels, including StitchArtist Level 1. Erich only used the ‘Draw with points’ tool and a simple run stitch to make this blackwork bounty ready for your table.
The design is provided in our native .BE format, enabling you to save a stitch file for any embroidery machine. If you aren’t already an Embrilliance owner, we provide a free method to use our software called Express Mode that will not only allow you to use any of the wonderful free designs found in our project blog, but also enables you to install and create basic text treatments with fonts distributed in our popular .BX format produced by many embroidery design creators.
