    Advanced Stitch Properties

Control satin and fill density, adding or removing 25% within each color layer in any stitch file.  Separately adjust satin and fill stitching for fine-grained density control.

    Knockdown Stitches™

When sewing on terry or any fabric with loops and nap, generally a topping stabilizer is used. These can be helpful, but have a limitation: They do not hold down the nap past the actual stitch, which means outlines can be lost in the surrounding fabric. Using Knockdown Stitches™ you can create a global underlay for the entire design. The underlay extends a few millimeters past the edge of the design, which helps the overall effect.

Our new Parameterized Knockdown lets you alter the distance the Knockdown stitch extends from the design, the density and length of the stitching, and even offers a new Bidirectional option to create a mesh-like foundation of stitching for the most difficult knits and high-pile fabrics.

The automated Knockdown tool is exclusive to Embrilliance Enthusiast.

    Density Adjustment

Adjust density in a block of stitches, either manually or with the help of the Project Advisor!

With Embrilliance Density Repair Kit, you can select one or many color layers and use either a simple slider to adjust manually, or adjust the entire design with the use of the Project Advisor! Seen above is the same stitch file design, manually tuned for lower and higher densities.

    Embrilliance Enthusiast: Stitch Editing

Select an element from any stitch file with the lasso, rectangle, or paintbrush selection tool. You can move, remove, rotate, copy, paste, recolor and re-use any part of your design, any way you like! From a simple alteration to a complete design makeover, Enthusiast lets you make the most of your design collection!

Select a block of finished stitching and convert it to Satin, 2 and 3 column split satin, or fill stitching. Perfect for those too-long stitches that slow down your work when scaling up text and monograms!

Embrilliance Enthusiast lets you remove erroneous jump stitches with 2 clicks!
Embrilliance Enthusiast lets you remove erroneous jump stitches with 2 clicks!

Hate those excess jump stitches in your favorite stock design? In 2 clicks, they can be converted to tied-off trims!

Is your satin stitch border leaving gaps? Select the edge with the lasso tool and drag the Compensate slider to the right, and watch your border stretch to cover the gap!

    Embrilliance Enthusiast: Multiple Hooping

With Enthusiast, you are not limited to the built-in multi-position hoops. You can split designs with existing hoops, edit their properties, or create your own custom hoops.

In the first image, we see this coat of arms design placed in a multi-position hoop, but it is still a single design object. Using the ‘Split into Hoops’ tool, Enthusiast creates a news design page with two or more design objects, ready to verify or edit.

Embrilliance Enthusiast intelligently splits designs for multi-position hoops, hiding the seams between the splits as much as possible. On saving, each portion of the design with its attending basting box is output to a separate stitch file.

    Embrilliance Enthusiast: Baste Hoop

While Essentials can add basting to designs, Enthusiast will create a basting stitch run that follows the inside of your hoop to secure the entire hoop area.

    Embrilliance Enthusiast: Precise Position

Enthusiast’s controllable precise position display gives you the exact location of any design  related to the center of the design page. With Left, Center, and Right buttons for the X axis and Top, Center, and Bottom buttons for the Y axis, you can place any design exactly where you want it based its corners and midpoints, great for precisely tiled layouts.

With the Left and Top buttons set on the X and Y axis respectively, the display on the menu bar (shown inset for clarity) shows the position of the upper left corner of the design.

    Embrilliance Enthusiast: Mirror X 4

Mirror your design 4X to create easy corner designs, spaced horizontally and vertically according to the measurements you determine. The designs can also be rotated to a set angle.

Take corner designs and perfectly set them in all four corners of the embroidery hoop.

    Embrilliance Enthusiast: Instant Repeat

Enthusiast lets you repeat a single design in a grid set to a given number of repeats and spacing.

With stagger percentages added to flipping and mirroring alternate designs, complicated wallpaper surfaces can be created.

Tiling patterns are easy to make with Enthusiast's instant repeat.

    Embrilliance Enthusiast: Carousel

Enthusiast’s Carousel allows you to take a single design or object and create multiples along a circular or oval path, rotating them automatically for stunning borders and arrangements.

Flip alternating repeats, turn off auto-rotation, set your own rotation angle, or rotate the entire arrangement around the center to create various circular arrangements from the same embroidery design, and all in one step.

    Embrilliance Enthusiast: Scatter

The Scatter tool in Embrilliance Enthusiast lets you quickly create randomized patterns for all-over embroidery. You can specify the overall width and height of the scatter area, whether or not the design rotates and mirrors randomly, and set the minimum and maximum sizes as well as the spacing between the designs.

    Embrilliance Enthusiast: Save Image

Enthusiast saves high-resolution transparent PNG files, great for printing and mock-ups.

Place your transparent embroidery preview images into your favorite graphics software for quick and easy virtual samples on images of your decoratable garment or accessory.

    Embrilliance Enthusiast: Thread Editor

Beyond the Essentials palette creator, the Embrilliance Enthusiast editor lets you make your own embroidery thread brand charts and even pick colors directly from web pages or PDFs.

The color grabber tool will let you click in any window and pick up whatever color is under the cursor. This is very useful when you are building a thread palette from a document such as a .pdf or a thread manufacturer’s webpage. If you want to adjust the color visually, use the HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value) sliders until you get a color that you like.

    Advanced Sizing Controls

Includes Sensitivity controls to adjust for the discovery of fills and satin stitches, Gap Reduction to help reduce gaps between adjacent areas when you upscale designs, and stitch length filters to avoid overly long, loopy stitches and tiny stitches that are too closely crammed together.

    Merge Designs

Using the Merge Design tool, Embrilliance Essentials lets you preview designs and insert them into your design page, even from Zip files!

    Christmas Collection 1: Designs

    Resize with Stitch Calculation

Scale designs up to 250% or down to 50% of their original size while maintaining the same density as the digitizer intended. Small designs won’t be too packed and large designs won’t be too sparse if you resize them with Essentials!

As you can see in the image above, the density (space between lines of stitching) is the same in both the original size and the upscaled version at twice the size.

    Colorize Embroidery Designs

Using Embrilliance Essentials, you can add colors even to designs that aren’t stored with color formats, saving the results in the versatile .BE working file format. You can even add simulated previews of applique material as shown in this example.

With a single click, you can convert the existing colors saved in any design into your favorite thread brand.

    Add Lettering to Embroidery Designs

Embrilliance Essentials lets you add text to design with multiple lines of lettering and specific multiline controls.

Along with adding single words or lines of text, you can use a multi-line mode with specific controls for line spacing.

    Monogram Font in Embrilliance Essentials

Under single-line text, monogram fonts properly mapped for Embrilliance automatically select the correct character for the placement in the monogram without typing special codes.

Embrilliance allows you to easily type text on a circular path.

Switch to circle text and you can type text around any circle, just set the radius to your chosen measurement and decide where the text will sit on the baseline. Circle mode also lets you wrap long lines of lettering into a spiral!

    Modify Lettering

Shows multiple single-click text and monogram modifications you can do with Embrilliance Essentials

Embrilliance Essentials’ built-in quick styles can convert letters from any font into a stylish monogram or shaped text in an instant!

Displays Embrilliance's Text tools for Slant, Curve, and Spacing

The Slant, Curve, and Space tools allow you to reshape and style your text with simple sliders to create new treatments. You can even adjust multiple sliders on the same lettering object!

    Project Advisor

Shows the Embrilliance Essentials Project Advisor which helps you select the right materials and explains hooping for your embroidery project.

With Embrilliance Essentials’ Project Advisor, simply select your fabric type, or enter the thickness and stretch of your material and Essentials gives you recommendations for the proper needle, thread, topping, and backing as well as project notes to help you get your best result.

    Split Designs

Embrilliance Essentials allows you to split designs over multiple positions using built-in hoop templates for many common multi-position hoops. Embrilliance splits designs in such a way to make the ‘seams’ between positions less noticeable so that you get a smoother finish.

    Working Files

Shows the working file format allowing text to be changed in an embroidery file

When you save your embroidery in an Embrilliance Platform native BE working file, you can keep your color selections, add special notes, and change the text you’ve added to your design. With native BE files, you can save your work, alter your additions, and export to a wide range of stitch file types without losing the ability to edit what you’ve added to the design.

    Notes

Shows the Notes function in Embrilliance Essentials

Located in the Properties panel, the Notes tab lets you attach notes to specific designs inside of your working file’s design page. You’ll see your notes in the same tab the when that design is selected, and in the ‘About this Page’ option under the View menu.

    Create Applique Cut Files

Embrilliance Essentials lets you convert the placement stitch lines from applique embroidery design stitch files into vector shapes you can cut with both home and commercial cutting machines. With a couple of clicks, applique cut files can be saved as .SVG, .PLT, .FCM (ScanNCut) and .studio (Silhouette).

    Convert Lettering to Stitches

Easily convert text objects to stitch blocks with 2 clicks.

Embrilliance Essentials lets you convert lettering objects into stitch blocks with 2 clicks.

With Essentials’ Stitch Simulator, you can play back a design and stop at the stitch where you want to insert your color stop or function.

You can create striped text like this using only these simple functions.

    Lettering Sequences

Embrilliance’s lettering tool includes built in center-out lettering sequences for stable stitching on cylindrical cap frames.

Special monogram sequences let you set which of the 3 letters will stitch in order, perfect for adding dimension, like making the last name’s initial overlap the other letters for a more prominent finish.

Sequence monograms to leave the center letter on top for dimensional treatments on overlapping letters.

    Print Templates

Print properly sized templates and color run sheets from your embroidery designs.

Print 1:1 scale templates  with centering marks and run sheets previewing individual color stops from your embroidery designs.
